This grip is soft, and limits the shaft buzz from fouled iron shots, it is a good grip for the bare-handed player.. The grip has a more consistent diameter from top to bottom, doesn't taper much, and the cap is durable, doesn't erode as quickly as others abrading the harder surface of the bottom of the bag, and doesn't discolor gloves as badly as some. Be advised, the cap on the oversized grip will not fit into standard bag tubes easily.
