Don't believe the name brand hype, these deliver.: Wanted to toss a review on here because I have been extremely impressed with the one I ordered. I wanted to try a 7 fairway wood for the country club I joined due to a lot of uphill 200-210 shots into greens well above me but didn't want to pay premium prices for an experimental club. At $79 I am blown away by the quality and performance of it, it's just one of those clubs that you hit and it feels great, the face impact and feedback feels like higher end clubs I own from taylormade & callaway. The weight & shaft balance is perfect for my preference. Build quality is excellent and I don't see any defects in paint or assembly or club face finish. Excited to try a load of other SMT clubs when I have the extra cash. Hoping to order some of their equal length irons soon to those out, and want to order one of their drivers as well. The head cover is definitely on the cheap side but they had to save costs somewhere, and I seriously don't care at all, just wanted to include that in the review for others. It looks fine, just not fancy like the ones you get with high dollar name brand clubs. These are about function, but the club head is still a very nice black paint finish on top which I dig from cleveland's I used to play.
